Blackened Veal Chops
Episode 15 : Keeping it Veal
Ingredients
1/3 cup olive oil
3 tablespoons blackening spice
2 veal chops
3 morel mushrooms
Procedure
1. Add olive oil to griddle and place over high heat
2. Season veal chops on both sides with blackening spice
3. Pat seasonings in with hands to seal in flavor
4. Place chops on griddle; cook until both sides are browned
5. Remove from pan then set aside
6. Slice morel mushrooms in half then place on griddle; flip so that both sides are cooked then remove and set aside
